English-Sexy Paragraph

The person that I admire as a hero is Slade Griffin.

The reason that I admire Slade Griffin as a hero is because he started off playing as a kid for Cobden Kohinoor, which is the same Rugby League team that I play for. Slade Griffin then went to Cronulla to play for the Sharks in the New South Wales Cup. In 2013 Slade was signed up by the Melbourne Storm. He stayed at the Melbourne Storm for four years. On his last year at the Storm he was part of the team that won the Grand Final in the NRL.The Storm played against the Queensland Cowboys. The score was 34-6 to the Storm. `

In 2012 Slade Griffin tore a ligament in his right knee, which took him out for the rest of the season. While he was injured the Storm decided to extend his contract so that he can return to the team from injury. When he returned to NRL Slade tore the same ligament but this time in the left knee, which kept him out for the whole 2014 NRL season. In 2015 Slade was playing a Queensland Cup game when he tore the same ligament again in his left knee, which kept him out for another season without playing any NRL games. In 2016 he returned to the Storm, and was starting more regularly. The Storm extended his contract until the end of the 2017 season.

I think that Slade Griffin has showed that if you keep at something, and keep training and training then you can achieve anything. Slade had to deal with terrible injuries over and over again, but he kept trying to recover each time. Slade Griffin shows a lot of commitment to Rugby League, that everybody can learn from, and should try to have that much commitment as well. Slade shows people that they need to keep determined at something and to not give up. I think that Slade Griffin inspires everyone on the West Coast that plays Rugby League. Slade Griffin definitely inspires me, and all of my friends that play League.
